Global Compliance Solutions is pleased to announce that we will be providing Anti-Money Laundering Workshops for Management, Administrative Staff, Compliance Officers and MLRO’s on March 23 and 24, 2010.

Mr. Stuart Carson, Barrister; LL.M(Lond); LL.B(Wales)of Strategic Business Compliance based in the UK will be our invited guest presenter. An expert in international regulatory, compliance and anti-money laundering requirements, Stuart has direct experience and firsthand knowledge of numerous territories including, Europe, the Caribbean and South Africa. He is ideally placed to present on anti-money laundering initiatives and global compliance issues.

Our Presentations are designed to assist those working in the financial services sector to understand the obligations and appreciate the part they can play in preventing their organization being used by money launderers. In today’s regulatory environment it is the senior management teams that determine the success of the compliance programme. The workshop will explain the role of senior management in developing a compliant culture, the risks they face and how to effectively manage those risks.

The Tuesday workshop is a full day session designed for MLRO’s, Compliance Officers and Senior Management. The workshop will include a PowerPoint presentation, discussion, case studies, practical exercises and a Certificate of Attendance. It will include certain topics which will satisfy the requirements of the Cayman Islands Guidance Notes for advanced AML training. Wednesday’s sessions will be dedicated to AML refresher training for all staff members. The morning session is advanced, for MLRO’s, CO’s and Management and the afternoon session is ideal for new employees in the Financial Services sector and front line or administrative/operational staff.

Any cancellations after the registration deadline are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
